JOHN HENRY THORNTON joined DIALOG in 2015 as Director, Downstream and was subsequently appointed as Director, Operations Excellence, also heading the Risk Management and Internal Audit Department. Being appointed Managing Director, Business Excellence in July 2020, he continues to drive improvement and transformation programmes to enable sustainable growth and oversees Operations Excellence, Group Risk Management and Group Internal Audit. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, UK. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, UK and has 44 years of working experience in the oil and gas industry.
